  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Garnish with TWO luxardo cherries and an orange peel

Possibly my favorite cocktail of all time. Complex, bitter, balanced with no added sugar.

  • 0.75 oz bourbon
  • 0.75 oz lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz Aperol
  • 0.75 oz Amaro Nonino

  • 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • 0.33 oz simple syrup
  • 4 slices of cucumber
  • 5 mint leaves
  • Thin strip of habanero pepper
  • Garnish with a sprig of mint.

I discovered this at The Palm Houston. A fresh, sweet, but complex cocktail with a perfect balance of flavors.

  • 1.5 oz cognac
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • 0.33 oz simple syrup
  • 3 cucumber slices
  • 4 mint leaves
  • Top with ~1 oz ginger beer
  • Garnish with a sprig of mint.

A list of my favorite cocktails. Some recipes are originals, and most are tweaked from online recipes. Mixers should know that I enjoy strong, tart, but balanced cocktails, and most recipes will not be overly sweet.
